Wizards Open Tryout Info
Congratulations and welcome to the 2009 Kansas City Wizards Open Tryouts! Try-outs will begin at 9 a.m. sharp on Saturday and last until 4 p.m. On Sunday they will start at 9:30 a.m. and last until 3:30 p.m.
Teams 1 - 8, or Group #1, can start checking in at 8 a.m. on Saturday (We ask that group #2 does not show up early.) Goalkeepers and the group of "Extras," need to check in at 8 a.m. as well. Teams 9 - 16 or Group #2, can start checking in at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Notable items:
- Saturday, March 7 we will start our 7 v 7 games at 9 a.m.
- We will be playing outside on a turf field located at 6310 Lewis Road, Kansas City Missouri 64132.
- Everyone will get plenty of playing time during Saturday.
- We ask if your group or team is not playing due to a break that you don’t hang around the field. We have 175 participants and we will run a less confusing function without people loitering around and being in the way.
- After the day is over we will ask 60 participants to return on Sunday, March 8 for another full day of playing 11 v 11.
- Sunday will start at 9:30am for all participants asked to return (All others are asked not to attend Day 2)
Remember to bring:
- Proof of age (Birth Certificate, Drivers License or Passport)
- Signed Waiver and Medical Release
- Proof of Medical Insurance

Below are .PDFs for participants of the tryout. The first document (player list) assigns a number to each participant. The second document (team rosters) lists the team each player is on. The third document (game schedule) lists the schedule for each team. Group 1 (teams 1-8) are asked to check in Saturday, March 7 at 8 a.m. Group 2 (teams 9-16) can begin checking in at 9:30 a.m.
